HIATUS: BUILDING A BAR

The previous establishment was the Ideal Market and Cafe. It was shut down after a fire destroyed the kitchen and set the business back. The bar/counter that was there was well designed, but it wasn't complete and needed a bit of work to make it suitable for sipping a pint of Guinness!
I got to help with a little bit of this. Even Corina's father, John, pitched in. We both attempted to recreate the original facade to give the bar a clean look. Talk about working on a big scale and finally feeling like you are creating something substantial. Chuck and I have been talking about the main sign for the side of the building... looks like this might be a big project heading my way.
